Responsibilities:
l Take full ownership of the financial performance, team management, and strategic direction for a large and intricate market or region.
l Lead cross-functional initiatives with global impact, partnering across departments to drive product and operational excellence throughout the organization, providing timely feedback on regional market performance and user data
l Act as the primary representative of 3KM in the region, manage domestic government affairs by developing regional policies and strategies, as well as establishing essential compliance infrastructure for smooth operation.
l Serve as the foremost expert in operational matters for your region, advocating and championing operational excellence. Drive end-to-end operational improvements, providing guidance to teams and fostering innovation throughout the company.
l Attract and develop top-tier operational talent, creating a high-performing, values-driven culture. Foster regular feedback, establish clear accountability, and proactively manage performance.
l Utilize astute business analysis to creatively manage resources, identify trends, and implement strategic recommendations that enhance the business in both the short and long term.
l Cultivate a fun, inclusive, and safe workplace environment. Prioritize the safety of our staff, riders, and vehicles while empowering the team to experiment and think creatively to achieve their goals.
Qualifications:
l Minimum of 7 years of work experience in operations, management consultancy, financial or business analysis, or an equivalent role in a startup or fast-paced technology business.
l Demonstrated ability to attract, develop, and motivate exceptional operational talent, who can drive operational excellence and guide operational changes.
l Strong working knowledge of real-time marketplaces, including supply and demand economics. Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting data to create compelling narratives and reports.
l Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues, and exercise sound judgment in ambiguous environments.
l Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style to effectively engage both internal and external stakeholders. Capable of effectively communicating short and long-term strategic operational solutions to C-level members, utilizing data.
l Detail-oriented, focused on process improvement, self-motivated, and energetic. Possess the drive and aptitude to acquire new skills and grow within the role.
l Preferred but not required: Knowledge and/or experience using SQL, Engineering background.
