The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing a full scale of diagnostic and rehabilitative audiological services or audiology services both independently and within the department of ENT working closely with the Otolaryngology Department.Essential Job Functions• Supports and models behaviors consistent with the mission and philosophy of Billings Clinic and department/service.• Evaluates through diagnostic testing, patients of all ages with hearing loss, tinnitus, balance disorders, middle ear dysfunction.• (Patient Care, Audiology, Diagnostic Testing – Audiology) Provides rehabilitative audiological services, including hearing aides and/or other assistive technology to hearing impaired patients.• (Patient Care, Audiology, Hearing Aids) Utilizes performance improvement principles to assess and improve quality.• Identifies needs and sets goals for own growth and development; meets all mandatory organizational and departmental requirements.• Maintains competency in all organizational, departmental and outside agency environmental, employee or patient safety standards relevant to job performance.• Performs other duties independently or as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.
