Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain backend/frontend services which facilitate accounting, financial reporting and risk management.
- Design and Develop Restful API services to the given specifications and write unit test using Jest framework.
- Develop and maintain microservice based AWS Cloud Lambda infrastructure.
- Articulate a long term vision for maintaining and scaling our backend and frontend systems.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD workflows and facilitate upgrading existing workflows.
- Work with engineers, product managers and senior leadership to turn our product and technical vision into a tangible roadmap every quarter.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional experience with Node.js / JavaScript / TypeScript.
- AWS Lambda and DynamoDB experience.
- Experience in ES6 coding.
- Extensive relational database experience and/or exposure to DynamoDB or any NoSQL database.
- Experience in using Git and Git enabled services.
- Experience in functional programming and/or OO Javascript programming standards is preferred
- Experience in using Jest / Express / Koa framework is preferred.
- Experience in serveless development model is preferred.
