Join our team as a budding engineer, eager to delve into the exciting world of cryptocurrency software development. This position offers an introduction to real-world software engineering, where you’ll not just be coding, but also participating in meaningful projects that shape our product roadmap. Work alongside our experienced engineers, and gain a foothold in implementing and understanding state-of-the-art solutions.

Preferred Technical Experience

• Familiarity with one of these languages: Python, C#, Java.
• Basic understanding of database technologies such as PostgreSQL, SQLite, MSSQL, or MYSQL.
• Exposure or understanding of service-oriented architecture.
• Familiarity with version control, preferably Git.
• Curiosity about broker/messaging queue services.
• Interest in container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes) and CI/CD processes (e.g., Github Actions, CircleCI).
• Responsibilities
• Assist in developing features for Bitstop products, emphasizing secure and effective coding -practices.
• Engage in problem-solving sessions, learning to address and resolve technical challenges.
• Collaborate with the team on projects, understanding the importance of team dynamics in software development.
• Recognize technical debt and contribute to brainstorming sessions on addressing it.

• Ability to estimate, balance, and adhere to timelines.
• Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions.
• Self-motivated and self-managing, with excellent organizational skills.

• Comfortable working in a highly agile, intensely iterative software development process.
• A clear understanding of cryptocurrency.
