Overview:
With a priority to the Global Marketing function, our Creative team operates as a shared service for the entire global BHN business and additionally supports product development, internal communications as well as client deliverables.
This is a fast-paced business, so we are looking for someone to join a team with great energy and drive with an ability to contribute to the effective delivery of on-time, high quality deliverables.
Role Overview
This role will appeal to a candidate looking to be part of a dynamic Marketing team creating and developing innovative concepts, designs, and production ready artwork across all media channels in the EMEA region as part of a Global team working out of our Swords Office in Dublin.
We are seeking a strong results-focused senior designer, with 5+ years’ experience, that has excellent stakeholder and people management skills. Must be a proactive team player with creative flair and first-class design and production skills who will engage with teams across the organisation to ensure brand consistency and tone of voice.
As a senior member of the team, you will be an agent for change that will constantly be reviewing our processes and ways of working, seeking out moves that we – as individuals and as a team – can make to level up and scale our output and/or improve our efficiencies
As a people manager you will be tasked with inspiring direct reports to bring their best selves to their roles and supporting with development needs and ambitions.
Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities
Take, develop, and respond to briefs from Internal clients
Develop core creative ideas and deliver work that is engaging, rationalised, on brand and within brand guidelines
Support marketing with ideas that lead to the creation of value-adding marketing campaigns and products that delight and enable BHN growth targets to be met.
Prepare print production ready artwork for in-store POS, event and other physical product and marketing requirements including, but not limited to; gift cards and carriers, brochureware, leaflets, direct mail, magazine ads. event stands.
Creation of assets to support digital product and marketing activity including, but not limited to; websites, email, social media channels, in-store displays, product mock-ups.
Work collaboratively across the design, marketing, and client teams to drive up standards of creativity
Act as a brand ambassador to ensure the tone and values are consistent across all branded content and products
Continuously keep abreast of innovative design and technology in the marketplace and share updates with the team and wider community via our internal blogs
Continuously challenge our ways of working and processes to support with the delivery of our service at scale without compromise to quality
Provide estimates to our project managers to ensure all work is appropriately resourced to be delivered on time and in budget according to requirements of our briefs
Support in the creation of reports that help inform the business of our activity highlighting moments of success and identifying opportunities for learnings

Line Management responsibilities
Effectively engage, manage, motivate, and lead direct reports to individual and team success.
Work with Talent Acquisition to pro-actively attract top talent and accurately assess, select and pre-board and on-board to set new starters up for success.
Stretch and grow direct reports by developing relevant and achievable objectives that are in line with departmental and company strategy, reviewing performance throughout the year in line with the Performance Excellence framework and encouraging a culture of learning of improvement within the team – working with HRBP’s and Learning & Development to ‘upskill’ and when required to performance manage.
Clearly communicate and cascade company policy, standard operating procedures, company, and legislative updates to ensure team(s) are working in line with company best practice and business risk is minimised.
Qualifications:
Proven creative studio experience
A solid portfolio that demonstrates delivery of creative excellence
Proven Mac and program skills including Adobe Creative Suite; InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator etc., with proven studio experience
Good understanding of digital design process (UX/UI) and experience in associated programmes
Motion graphics/animation capabilities although not essential would be favourable
Knowledge of product lifecycle would be advantageous
A healthy Interest in the wider aspects of design, its application and possess a passion for sharing and an appetite for learning and continuous improvement
Self-motivation and proactive drive: You think ahead, enjoy a good challenge, and are a pro at balancing competing priorities
