Department: Product
As the Head of Product you’ll be responsible for developing our product strategy in alignment with the business strategy. You’ll be managing a cross functional team of Product Managers, UX & Technical Writing across Mexico, London and India to deliver on the product goals.
You’ll be the leading driver on building efficient systems and processes within the Product team that enable collaboration and data driven decision making. The highest priority for you and your team will be to maximise the value the client can gain from our various product lines and ensure they continue to fulfil the needs of their users.
Responsibilities and tasks:
Execute against the company’s product strategy and realise our product roadmap across four product lines
Cross functionally align the leadership of marketing, sales, customer success and product teams to deliver outstanding value for our customers
Improve Product Operations across all product lines and enable all product managers to deliver against roadmap targets
Provide the leadership team an accurate and data driven view of the performance of all product lines and shape the long term product strategy
Drive action throughout the organisation to get products and features to market
Oversee the creation and management of pricing models for each product
Hire, retain and develop a team of Product Managers, Technical Writers, and UX Designers
Become a domain expert around everything that involves building an efficient engineering organisation to help drive meaningful conversations with our leadership team, customers and our product advisory board
Leading by example and enjoying getting into the details of complex problems
Striving for a data driven decision making approach in any aspect of your product function
Ability to influence and drive leadership discussions with all department leaders and unify around the value proposition BlueOptima offers to their clients
Comfortable with the way an engineering driven organisation works and expertise in technical discussions to help the engineering team prioritise the right tasks.
A strong background in enterprise software, B2B SaaS, engineering solutions or similar backgrounds that help you understand what problems our clients are facing.
Four years experience in being a product manager for a b2b business
Demonstrable experience of having led early stage product to market
Thorough understanding of product development process
Two years managerial experience in developing junior and ideally managerial talent to their next career step.
Strong proficiency in a wide range of tools that Product and Engineering teams use.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
The ability to adapt to a changing business and market place
Ability to think creatively and exploit business opportunities
