The Finance FINREG teams are responsible for preparing and submitting US financial and regulatory reports, as well as information needed to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and other internal controls.

The BOW Financial Reporting team is responsible for the Bank of the West regulatory reports and works in partnership with teams in San Ramon, California, to produce reports required by regulators like the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.

Accounting — Ability to collect, analyze, monitor and consolidate financial data for financial statements and regulatory reporting.

Regulations and standards — Ability to establish and promote awareness of regulatory and accounting requirements for reports and consolidated statements.

Client-focused — Ability to engage with internal stakeholders and external customers as “clients,” recognizing that clients are the main driver of commercial decisions.

Teamwork — Ability to work and cooperate with others, both within own team and between different teams, in or outside of hierarchical and functional relationships (in top-down, bottom-up and/or cross-functional relationships), with a project-centric focus and with people from other cultures and companies, embracing different interpersonal and work approaches.

A minimum of five years’ experience in finance.
A bachelor’s degree in a related field is essential.
Preferably a master’s degree in a related field.
Preferably a recognized accounting qualification.
Knowledge of Oracle HFM and Matisse would be an advantage.
Bilingual : English and French
