Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced home lender to help support our team in Waikato – This role can be based out of Hamilton, Cambridge or Te Awamutu. You’ll provide expert home loan advice to our customers, build your own network of clients, and have the initiative, drive, energy, and skills to support residential homeowners and property investors over to the BNZ way of life. Key responsibilities include:

• Assess and complete home lending for a variety of customers
• Deliver BNZ’s signature experience Financial Health Checks, exploring and identifying customers’ goals, and propose solutions in order to achieve best outcomes
• An excellent opportunity to establish your network within a community and create a personal brand for yourself. Lead and drive connections to your network and help your community to achieve

Please note that the official position title for this role is ‘Banker’, however this is a Banker position that is home lending focused.

Ōu Pūkenga | About You

You will be a customer focused individual with previous lending experience, and ideally home lending. Your ability to problem solve and find solutions to exceed our customers expectations will be essential to your success in this role. You will bring:

• Strong relationships and networking abilities in and around the region
• Previous home lending experience within financial services
• Considerable experience in customer service and a natural ability to build relationships with customers
• A sound understanding of the property market, as well as the housing under construction, property development and turnkey industries would be ideal
