Te Kaiurungi | About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced lender to help support our team based in Manawatu from Tuesday to Saturday, 8.30am – 5.00pm. As a Banker, you’ll truly make a difference in our customer’s lives by engaging in quality conversations to really get to know them and their needs. This role is a Banker Level 5 – So we are looking for someone with experience in a similar role. Please refer to the position description for an outline of key responsibilities at this level. You will:

• Assess and complete complex lending, such as for trusts, bridging loans and houses under construction; this may involve interpretation of financials for micro business, income verification, account conduct assessment, approval of details refer codes
• Deliver BNZ’s signature experience Financial Health Checks, exploring and identifying customers’ goals, and propose solutions in order to achieve best outcomes

Ō Pūkenga | About You

You will be a customer focused individual with previous lending experience, and a desire to grow your career! Your ability to problem solve and find solutions to exceed our customers expectations will be essential to your success in this role.

You will ideally have exposure to responding to the needs of small business customers, as well as experienced with business lending, overdrafts, and business transactions. Your financial acumen with an understanding of investment and transactional will help you to identify and address customer needs.
