Description:
Accountable for identifying and implementing business process improvements locally and harmonizing best practices across the network. Works with all functions on the site to identify long-term strategic and short-term tactical opportunities. Is a ‘change agent’ for the site and implements change management plans with respect to continuous improvement initiatives.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Works with Site leadership to identify critical areas where there is a business need to execute continuous improvement projects. Creates a business case for the change proposed and validates the need through data analysis.
Determines the appropriate metrics to apply to initiatives and projects (e.g. productivity, cost savings, number of projects underway, deviations).
Develop, implement, update, and maintain strategy and methodology for business process excellence/continuous improvement including Execution and Improvement Methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma, Lean, etc.)
Leads structured problem-solving efforts and provides a robust process to problem solving and BPE projects (e.g Diagnosis, Design, Implementation and Sustainability analysis phases). Is accountable for communicating obstacles and challenges encountered at all stages of a BPE initiative; as well as identifying opportunities for acceleration.
Network with other BPE teams in the network to identify and implement best practices and harmonize the BPE approach globally.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or Science but experience can be substituted.
Required certifications:
Six Sigma Green Belt and/or Black Belt
Preferred certification
Project Management Professional (PMP)
5+ years of project management experience
Must have knowledge of Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry and/or other regulated industry
Experience in reviewing and performing business process investigations, which include root cause analysis, value stream mapping, and identification of effective corrective and preventative actions
Working knowledge of of DMAIC, DMADV, PDCA, and different project management methodologies
Strong communication skills and change management knowledge
Eligibility Requirements:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
Must be 18 years of age or older.
