Responsibilities:
Leads and provides oversight to employees performing engineering and technical activities in the areas of strength and DADT analysis and structural design.
Effectively plans and executes statement of work (cost, schedule, technical, & safety).
Establish, track, and automate value added metrics that help to effectively manage the business.
Identify, develop, implement, & champion initiatives to shape/modernize our business.
Establishes, develops, & maintains partnerships with team, customers, stakeholders, peers, & partners.
Effectively communicates with team, Leadership, and stakeholders.
Mentor, motivate, and provide growth and development opportunities for team.
Security Clearance:
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor of Science degree or greater in an engineering related field
5+ years of experience in an engineering related role
3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role
Desired Education, Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Engineering
1+ years of engineering leadership experience (in lead or manager role) working on advanced fighter aircraft
Experience training and/or mentoring in a technical environment
1+ years of experience working with Mechanical or Structures related statements of work.
Travel:
Occasional travel may be required.
Relocation:
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
Hybrid/Telecommute :
This Hybrid position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite. (St. Louis, MO)
