The Opportunity
We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to work as part of the team to support the delivery of next generation Communications Systems and the continued evolution of those capabilities to the Australian Defence Force. The role is based in Brisbane.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of robust software defined networking solutions with a focus on cyber security, scalability and performance.
- Design, development, integration and test of integrated hardware and software systems.
- Development of engineering documentation and configuration management of hardware and software artefacts.
Experience/Qualifications
- Tertiary degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in engineering or equivalent technical experience.
- Experience within Defence or complex engineering project environments is desirable.
- The ability to communicate and collaborate with a diverse team, in a conscientious and inclusive way.
- Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.
