Boeing Canada Operations Ltd. is seeking a highly organized Operations Support Specialist, reporting to the Medium to Heavy Lift Helicopter, (MHLH) Program Manager working out of the Ottawa, Ontario office. The Operations Support Specialist will support the Program Management department.
Successful candidate will have strong analytical & organizational skills, demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize work as well as able to communicate effectively to a wide variety of stakeholders.
Position Responsibilities:
Prioritizes and schedules management-level employee time and availability for efficient use of time.
Tracks and maintains information relative to department and business operations. Verbally communicates a wide variety of information to multiple audiences.
Processes incoming and outgoing communication and correspondence to a wide variety of stakeholders.
Tracks and maintains designated conference room schedules for availability and efficient use of resources.
Coordinates with the appropriate focal(s) to support the acquisition and maintenance of resources.
Supports record keeping management services for the Quality Management System.
Schedules and supports program level meetings.
Customer access coordination to Boeing systems.
Supports various audits and projects as required.
Works under limited supervision.
Other Administrative duties as assigned.
This position is in-office with telecommuting option at the discretion of the Program Management department. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform work onsite at the Ottawa, Ontario office. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
4+ years of experience in operations support or administrative activities or equivalent position
Excellent computer skills including demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
Must hold G Drivers License or provincial equivalent
Candidate must be eligible for authorization under the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP). Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods
Must be able to obtain Canadian Secret Level II Security Clearance
Must be legally able to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
Post-secondary education
Experience in database management
Bilingual in verbal and written French and English
Active Canadian Level II Secret Clearance
Typical Education and Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years’ related work experience, 10 years’ related work experience, etc.).
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Additional Information:
This requisition is for a locally hired position in Canada. The employer is Boeing Canada. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Benefits and pay are determined by Canada and are not on Boeing US-based payroll. This is not an expatriate assignment.
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance Level II from the Canadian government. Requirements to obtain a secret security clearance can be found at:
