Boo Studio Pty Ltd is looking to hire for the position of ‘Software Engineer’ in Sydney. This is a full-time position and requires someone with strong experience as a software engineer. Remuneration for this position will be $100,000 annually plus superannuation.

The responsibilities of the role include:

• Developing front end website architecture.
• Front end functional testing (GUI, functionality, usability, bugs)
• Designing user interactions on software pages.
• Developing back-end software applications.
• Creating servers and databases for functionality.
• Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones, tablets & desktops
• Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
• Working alongside UI/UX Designers for software design features.
• Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
• Designing and developing APIs.
• Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
• Staying abreast of developments in software applications and programming languages.

Your key skills and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent employment experience
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a software engineer
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• High Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• High Proficiency with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue JS, React
• High Proficiency with server-side languages such as PHP, Laravel & Python.
• Python with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• User-driven approach with passion towards delivering quality work.
• Ability to work independently and multitask.
• Ability to deliver projects within time frame.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Marrickville, NSW 2204: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
