Cascadia Motion is manufacturer of electric vehicle propulsion system solutions. Specifically, this means inverters, motors, gearboxes and supporting equipment. The company owns the project from concept design through in-house manufacture and after-sales support. Products are typically prototype to mid-volume but with a volume graduation pathway into other facilities within the parent company’s network of plants. Our customer base is extensive and international ranging from OEM to startup and spanning across all vehicle types.

We have locations in both Hood River and Wilsonville, Oregon (USA). In this role, you will do your work at our Wilsonville location.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Quality Manager/ERP Champion is responsible for the successful development, execution and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) and maintenance of the ERP systems. They work within all aspects of the company, including both Wilsonville and Hood River job sites to develop and maintain Procedures and other documents to control the quality of all products shipped from Cascadia Motion and ensures the ERP system meets the company’s objectives. This position reports to the Operations Manager.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Evaluates requirements, develops and/or prepares quality systems documentation
• Evaluates quality problems, supports corrective and preventative actions
• Schedules regular internal audits and Quality Management Reviews
• Interfaces with third Party auditors as the CM Main Interface
• Evaluates the Quality Metrics for both CM sites and takes appropriate corrective actions
• Actions issues arising within the ERP system
• Collects data from department managers and reports status of ERP system to Management

• Create, maintain, and publish regular metrics to communicate overall company performance
• Conduct continuous improvement efforts, coordinate cost reduction efforts for CM

• Up to 10% travel, both domestic and international

EDUCATION and QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor Degree in related discipline or equivalent experience
• 5+ years QM and ERP analyst experience
• Strong Leader capable of working in a team-based environment
• Professional interpersonal verbal and written communication required
• Must have highly developed organizational skills including the ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines
• Proficient with Microsoft office products — Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Skilled in use of ERP/MRP systems
• Complete understanding of ISO Quality standards as related to Manufacturing
