Lead Instrumentation & Controls Engineer – Tulsa, OK. Act as an SME in Instrumentation and Control Systems engineering for Burner Management Systems and related Electrical Engineering systems. Responsible for ensuring technical excellence in planning, execution, delivery and support of all assigned projects. Technically lead the development of  BMS (Burner Management System) and HMI (Human Machine Interface) logic programs using commercial software including Rockwell (Studio 5000, Logix 500/5000, FactoryTalk View), Schneider Electric (TriStation) and Siemens (Simatic Step7). Participate in technical meetings with customers to ensure the requirements and specifications are clearly identified and documented. Technically guide the activities of Instrument & Controls Engineers and contractors. Finalize and moderate project plans and schedule changes. Review and prepare status reports. Review and finalize all system artifacts including logic diagrams, cause and effect matrices, control philosophy documents. Evaluate sub-vendors’ proposals and drawings to assure compliance with specifications. Guide and provide technical support during Process Hazard Analysis, LOPA, and SIL/SIF studies. Support sales team in providing inputs on cost estimates, proposals, and possible technical variances that could impact delivery/cost compliance and provide financial risk assessment. Support project management team by providing inputs on scheduling and manpower planning. Act as lead overseeing LOOP checks, SAT and other assignments as required. Work closely with the quality assurance team and other engineering professionals to complete projects successfully. Prepare the strategy and finalize the test procedures of designed systems compliant with the project specifications. Provide guidance in effectively troubleshooting problems that may arise. Other similar duties as assigned. M-F; 40 hrs/week.
