You will work closely with a cross-disciplinary team of clinicians, pathologists, and bioinformaticians, to build big-data integration systems and clinical decision support tools. As part of our team, you will develop innovative, data-driven solutions which directly impact patient care. We use version control, conduct code reviews, practice unit testing/continuous integration testing, and use the latest open-source libraries and tools.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Project management & code reviews

• DevOps: Azure / Kubernetes management

• Frontend/Backend architecture planning

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Frontend/Backend development

• Database development

• MLOps

SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Significant professional experience in software development

• Significant experience with Azure cloud infrastructure

• Strong grasp of Docker fundamentals, HELM, and Kubernetes APIs

• Strong grasp of javascript fundamentals – HTML5 / ES6 standards

• Strong grasp of python fundamentals

• Experience with python application frameworks: Flask or Fast API a plus

• Significant familiarity with Linux & Bash

• Familiarity with REST APIs (GraphQL a plus)

• Experience with MongoDB and SQL (PostgreSQL-specific experience a plus)

• Experience with (or a willingness to learn) bioinformatics concepts, tooling, and data formats is a significant plus

• Ability to work in a highly collaborative and intellectually challenging environment

• Willingness and the ability to learn new technologies dynamically are required

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

QUALIFICATIONS / APPLICATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science with 3+ years in professional software development

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
