Bowman Brothers headquartered at 13045 S Kelly Avenue, Edmond, Oklahoma 73025; Phone: (405) 361-1122, is looking to fill ten (10) Landscape Technician positions from April 1, 2022, to October 31, 2022. This is for temporary, full-time peak-load employment. Duties include performing lawn care maintenance by pruning and trimming trees, shrubs, and/or hedges. Plant trees, foliage, and bushes. Maintain appearance of lawn by mowing and edging. Manage tree and shrub care and maintain flower beds. Responsible for landscape installation activities including installing floral beds and the preparation of existing areas of foliage and landscaping materials. Must know how to use garden tools, hand tools, and/or lawn mowing equipment such as mowers, tractor, electric clippers, sod cutters, or pruning saws. 3 months of landscape maintenance experience required. Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs. Ability to stand, walk, and bend 8 hours a day.

$14.58+ per hour, based on experience. Overtime available at $21.87+ per hour, based on hourly rate. 40 hours per week. 7:00AM to 4:00 PM, M-F. Returning workers and workers with experience may be paid higher wage rates. Job opportunity is temporary, full-time position. Daily travel to worksites in the area of intended employment is required. The requested temporary workers will be based in 13045 S Kelly Avenue, Edmond, Oklahoma 73025 and will service clients within the Oklahoma City, OK MSA Area. Employer provides transportation to and from all worksites.

Single workweek will be used in computing wages due. Pay period is weekly. Employer will make all deductions from worker’s paycheck required by law. Housing is offered to the employee at $100 per week and will be deducted by weekly payroll deduction. The offered housing is optional to the employee. Employer will make all deductions required by law. Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed by a company check, separate from the payroll check, if the worker completes half of the employment period. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back to home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economically and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $13.17 per day during travel to a maximum of $55 per day with receipts. Reimbursement in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker (but not included passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker). The employer will provide worker at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job and on the job training in the proper use of tools and equipment. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12- week period of the total employment period.
