Job Profile Summary:
Role Synopsis
The Environmental & Regulatory Analyst supports the exploration and development of oil and gas assets by ensuring life-of-the-well regulatory compliance with federal, state and local regulations. The Environmental & Regulatory Analyst will be responsible for filing permits and regulatory reports, understanding and communicating regulatory requirements and coordinating compliance activities.

Key Accountabilities
Communicate regulatory requirements and practices to internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with agency rules and regulations.
Coordinate, prepare and submit permit applications and associated technical documents.
Review conditions of approval, provide support and assistance to development and operations teams to ensure compliance.
Coordinate, prepare and submit compliance paperwork, documentation and reports.
Organize, maintain and track permitting and compliance timelines and obligations.
Maintain required records, complete data entry and provide electronic filing support.
Maintain close communication with development and operations teams to ensure regulatory needs are addressed in a timely manner.
Attend agency meetings as necessary.
Essential Education
Essential experience and job requirements
Able to read, research and comprehend regulatory rules and requirements.
Eager personality with a strong sense of initiative, motivation, and drive.
Skilled in working on tasks requiring meticulous attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Critical thinker, innovative and agile in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills which include the ability to speak, write and listen in a manner that clarifies issues, promotes closure and delivers information in a clear and concise manner.
Proactive in planning ahead and problem solving.
Successful working independently and as a team player with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with regulatory agency staff and all levels of company office and field staff.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, primarily Excel and Word.
Technical writing experience a plus.
