Driving the successful delivery of key client programmes

Working closely with key internal departments and externally with the client, the Client Relationship Manager will be responsible for ensuring key client programmes run successfully to achieve client satisfaction and retention.

As well as regular communications with the clients and provision of advice, you will also play a key role in overseeing the onboarding processes and ensuring courses are delivered as planned and on time

What you’ll be doing

• Being a key point of contact for existing law school clients and managing and maintaining the relationship between BPP Law School and its exclusive clients to protect and grow the revenue.
• Liaising with BPP Law School’s key stakeholders in its operational teams and law firm clients to ensure a smooth and efficient enrolment of students
• Liaising with BPP’s finance department when required.
• Representing the CRM team in relevant steering groups (university operations/SQE groups)
• Working closely with the Legal Apprenticeship Team to ensure consistency for student and client, as well as other Schools.
• Managing the distribution of student results to firms and liaise with the relevant Award Leaders, where required.
• Working closely with the Head of Client Service to assist in business development and client related research activity to help grow law school clients
• Working closely with the Learning Support teams within BPP to understand student support and help to identify improvements.

Liaising with BPP’s faculty to ensure students are fully supported in their studies and the CRM team are appraised of their development.

• Working with Outreach, Careers and Pro-bono teams where firm representation is required
• Ensuring understanding of the student journey and support in relation to the new SQE regime

• A proven track record of managing successful relationships with clients
• Industry knowledge/understanding/experience
• Experience in working with demanding clients and under tight deadlines
• Project Management skills, managing complex activities to tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills: verbal and written
• Excellent planning skills, able to create high level & detailed plans
• Excellent negotiating skills, being able to influence outside of line management structure
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Passionate about providing excellent client service with a positive approach to dealing with people
• Proactive and professional attitude to work
• Ability to cope with conflicting demands and to prioritise tasks
