Job Description

Position Purpose

Manages and oversees sales operations to improve and strengthen CHEP Mexico’s market position by taking care of our customers with unparalleled service, a comprehensive understanding of their business, and offering them solutions to streamline their supply chains, thus retaining their business and growing with them in a profitable way, while continuing to find new business opportunities. The role is expected to define the commercial strategy for the company, with a critical active leading role in its execution.

Major/Key Accountabilities

• Protect and Growth – Protect the current 240M USD revenue, achieve the annual revenue/Profit/Cash & Asset efficiency budget and Achieve Revenue Budget for existing and new customers in Mexico. Define and execute the overall commercial strategy for existing & new sectors in Mexico. Lead multifunctional teams to ensure that BRAMBLES retains current customer business when under threat from competition. Grow the business YOY according to the 4YP. Explore new sectors like home care in cooperating with marketing and expand the service increasing market share, Control and manage sales funnel for Mexico through sales force
• Customer Satisfaction – Increase the NPS for Mexico customers, making sure they receive outstanding customer experience , both from field functions and back office. This should include ensuring the smooth roll out of new initiatives and tools.

• People – Structure and develop a team of high performance to lead entire account management and sales staff. Work to increase engagement through improving the work experience of the team members, invest in appropriate zero harm initiatives, job training and coaching and ensure that high potential colleagues are given the opportunity to develop their careers within the business. To inspire and develop the new generation of Brambles Leadership

• Cost Efficiency – Ensure careful management of T&E costs through the roll out of route planning and management of expenses without sacrificing customer service or coverage. Work with the supply chain team to address quality issues before they become a cause for customer concern or a major cost to BRAMBLES. Ensure that revenue recovery activity becomes “business as usual” activity through the CSO team and work closely with the Genpact Organization to ensure collections
• Asset Control – Stablish appropriate structure and KPIs to ensure Asset efficiency targets & controls by negotiating losses and reducing leakage rate
• Transformation – accountable for the Commercial Workstream in the transformation journey

• Develop the annual Mexico budget for submission
• Key contributor to CHEP Mexico strategy

Qualifications

• Business / Engineering / Commercial Degree, MBA

Experience

• Minimum 5 years in a Commercial Sr Manager role with people management
• Minimum 10 years general business experience.
• Good grasp of commercial finance and the basis upon which investment decisions are made.
