Job Description

Position Purpose

Strategy Lever:

• Understand and provide trends to LatAm LT to lead discussion oriented to the development of regional business strategy
• Develop regional business strategy and lead approval with Global stakeholders, including CEO and CFO
• Adapt global Brambles Strategy into LatAm business context; with enough consistency across region and country by country flexibility to respond to market development stages. This to gain Regional alignment and local adoption to better execute impacting business results using communication platforms / campaigns to incorporate strategic vision into daily actions.
• Anticipate and/or incorporate market changes / trends that would represent risks & opportunities (protect from core business impact and further develop new value streams).
• Support & facilitate key initiatives that could represent business evolution / transformation: PMO, BUP, SoF and New Solutions.
• Follow strategy into execution with direct interaction with key senior management roles, including regional presidency, VPs and Country General Managers, as well as functional directors across the region

Marketing Component -> Lead Customer Experience by Customer Retention:

• Develop, attain approval from LT management and convert into execution through generating specific training materials to make CHEP CVP the “North Star” of key areas / functions to maximize alignment and evolve customers experience. CVP will be the foundation from which CHEP Corporate Brand would be positioned in existing and new (relevant audiences).
• Generate superior value to our customers from marketing campaigns to generate leads and demand develop positioning campaigns and communicating CHEP corporate Brand pillars, building differentiation with CHEP business model and Sustainability components. Generate Regional / Countries Marketing Plans, more specific to LAKAS build and collaborate to attain effective retention Develop and launch new solutions to support and enhance Value Proposition, such as Retail Index, Zero Waste World Programme and LMS Develop global network with other senior marketing functions Engage
• Connect Global Solutions Development with Regional business possibilities to fill growth pipeline of initiatives; going from insght generation / assessment to full solution marketing plan.

Scope

Work collaboratively with LT, as well as regional & functional Business Leaders: Category Sales Managers, Country General Managers, Commercial Directors and other Staff-Support Areas such CSO, Operations, Logistics and Finance to understand Business / Commercial implications to deliver ambitions, stratrgies and marketing needsacrroass LatAm Region. The aim is to focus on closing business gaps and crystalize opportunities by connecting global & local business strategy, developing improvement / growth initiatives to deliver consistently and progressively on Regional Targets / Objectives. Countries: Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Argentina, Peru, CAM, as well as Exports business.

Major/Key Accountabilities

Strategy Role:

• Support and/or influence Country General Managers to align regional / country strategy leveraging regional capabilities, tools and respurces whilst building the future CHEP Business by delivering BUP & SoF initiatives.
• Lead the CHEP new value stream creation starting from market / customer / internal insights upto defining tangible solutions with launching plans.
• Build strategy communication plan to align and position initiatives among all employees aligned to Global Imperatives and Regional Priorities.

Marketing Role:

• Demand Generation Plans and Campaigns to increase opportunities at regional level being responsible for the selection and performance management of external agencies and vendors to ensure maximum impact/return for the business; leading CHEP LatAm Demand Generation program focused on growth and customers baseline and retention, supporting Commercial teams and other functional areas to drive tangible business results.
• Build strategy and communication plans to position CHEP corporate brand as the most influential strategic ally for supply chain, logistics and sustainability building strong entry barrier to pre-empt competitors in key markets with direct responsibilities for safekeeping policies within global branding, marketing automation and digital marketing

Qualifications

• BS or BA degree, preferably with an emphasis in Strategy and/or Marketing.
• Master’s degree highly desired in Business Strategy / Development

Experience

• The successful candidate must have proven record managing and developing strategy and marketing campaigns (including ATL/BTL and digital track of record). The LatAm Strategy & Marketing Senior Manager will be the key contact to understand diverse market needs and provide solutions to ensure sales growth, positioning and gain market/customer penetration.
• The manager should be proactive and independent driving external agencies (advertising, PR, digital, BTL) with strong track record in managing and influencing others, It is required to team up with other members of staff in the organization from various departments/functions/countries towards achieving the desired business goals.
• 5 years’ experience in Strategy & Marketing roles with strong acumen in B2C and B2B communication (2 years). Excellent communication, relationship building, and influencing abilities with strong Strategic and Business Thinking capabilities stakeholders management skills.
• Commercial understanding and new business / new market development experience; understanding P&L and financial planning, analysis, tracking and reporting skills with deep understanding of diverse research methodologies (qualitative, quantitative, neuro) as well as the use of diverse sources of information (Euromonitor, GlobalData, Kantar World Panel, Nielsen, Mintel)
• Experience with innovative solutions for demand generation, marketing automation, lead generation, scoring and nurturing strategies, and web management best practices.
• Proven ability to deliver results in support of key business objectives and stakeholder needs with advanced customer focus and business development skills; Project management and execution capabilities.
• Desirable: Having led cross functional, multi-geographic projects/teams
• Desirable: strong technical and systems/software knowledge including SF
• Open to Travel
