Retail Store Sales Assistant (Full-time) – Google Merchandise Store

Who we’re looking for

This is an opportunity to work within the prestigious headquarters of one of the world’s biggest brands. We are looking for a highly self-motivated, outgoing individual to work as a sales assistant and brand ambassador for the Google Merchandise Store in Dublin.

If you are a natural communicator, with a passion for retail, then this is a chance to join a team delivering world class service whilst supporting a myriad of initiatives and events in-store.

This is a full-time position, based at the Store within Google HQ in Dublin (right beside Grand Canal Dock station) The role consists of 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday 9am-5.30pm (The Store is closed weekends and public holidays)

What’s involved:

• Supporting the Store Manager
• Serving customers and dealing with enquiries
• Processing cash, card and online payments
• Updating customer records in the company’s database as required
• Handling product returns and payment refund requests
• Reporting any inventory or service issues to management and the appropriate Account Manager immediately
• Arranging products on the shelves and on promotional displays
• Unpacking and sorting new stock deliveries
• Managing product inventory at the store
• Exceptional customer service, with a flair for bringing our client’s brand alive, in-store.
• Determination and flexibility to go the extra mile, in helping to achieve and exceed the store’s goals and targets.

What you’ll need:

• Retail experience is desirable but not essential
• The flexibility to work 9am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday
• Exposure to the promotional merchandise industry would be an advantage but is not essential
• Confidence when communicating across all levels
• Most importantly, a positive, engaging, ‘can do’ attitude
