Bridgend County Borough Council is seeking a motivated individual who has a passion for ensuring vulnerable learners educational needs are being met. An exciting opportunity has arisen to be a part of a team that promotes the needs of vulnerable learners in accessing good quality education that meets their needs.
Your experience as a professional involved in education, social care or the voluntary sector over a number of years will allow you to work closely with a variety of staff across education and social care to improve outcomes for those children who have been identified as being vulnerable in education. This group of learners includes but is not exclusive to those children who are supported by the Youth Justice Service, children with English as an additional language, Gypsy Traveller Families, children who are looked after, those who have been elected to be home educated, children deemed to be at risk of significant harm.
This is an opportunity to develop your skills in working with vulnerable learners. If you have the necessary professional knowledge supported by experience, we look forward to hearing from you. An enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check is a requirement for this post.
