BrightStar Care Hiring for Life Enrichment Coordinator at Waunakee Full Time

BrightStar Senior Living is a small assisted living and memory care community located in Waunkee and is looking for an experienced Life Enrichment Coordinator. BrightStar Senior Living community offers support to older adults with physical and cognitive limitations.  The Life Enrichment Coordinator shall assist and support the successful operations of BrightStar Senior Living’s programming and community events. The Life Enrichment Coordinator will be responsible for daily resident programming (including off-site events), successful management of the programming budget, supervision and support of activity assistant staff and volunteers and participation/documentation as required for resident care planning. As with others on the management team, the Life Enrichment Coordinator will be responsible for providing on-call support to our direct care staff. The life Enrichment Coordinator will assist in establishing, implementing and evaluating goals and objectives for BrightStar Senior Living that meet and promote the standards of quality.    Qualifications Requirements:Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist (CTRS)One (1)+ year experience in programming or Enrichment position experince, preferably from within a Long Term Care, Assisted Living and/or Memory Care community.Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills (English)Keen attention to detailCaring and compassionate dispositionAbility to perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving and transporting residentsValid Driver’s License and auto insuranceFlexibility:the Life Enrichment Coordinator will be required to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the community.Work hours shall remain flexible to meet the needs of the community, its residents, staff and operations.
