As part of the Brinks’ Global Quality Assurance Team, the Manual Tester position requires efforts associated with executing test cases, performing end-to-end/regression testing and reviewing vulnerability/security test findings within the Application Lifecycle Management Octane (ALMO) tool. This position will report ultimately to the Global QA Director.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review functional/operational requirements and design specifications within the i-applications.
• Verify design requirements are met and in compliance with Quality Assurance standards.
• Participate at requirements reviews, design reviews and/or other team meetings.
• Review test plans, test cases and test scripts of other team members.
• Create detailed test cases within ALMO that can be used for end to end and regression testing.
• Test cases must be clear enough that they can be scripted into automated tests and automated end to end tests.
• Execute and maintain manual test cases through ALM Octane.
• Review security vulnerability findings from the Contrast tool for tracking in ALM Octane and adherence to an SDLC workflow/methodology
• Work accordingly with various QA Methodologies (i.e. Agile/DevOps and Waterfall).
• Report test status and findings to QA Team Lead.
• Report defects through Defect Module in ALM.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Good knowledge and understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing procedures and practices.
• Demonstration of adaptability in an ever-evolving QA/IT environment.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
• Demonstration of attention to detail and thoroughness.
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with team members.
• Prior Experience with ALM is a plus.
