About The Role

We’re seeking a motivated Assistant Retail Manager to join our enthusiastic and highly productive retail management team in our Rebel Sport Porirua store. We’re looking for a leader that lives and breathes striving for customer excellence!

This is a full time role, working 40 hours a week from Sunday through to Thursday.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Coaching and mentoring team members to meet and exceed targets
• Being accountable for the profitability of the store/s within the Profit Centre (PC)
• Making sure administrative and audit processes are followed
• Maintaining the integrity of inventory
• Making sure our stores are a safe environment for our people and customers through actively promoting our “Safe Home Every Day” framework

Skills And Experience

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

• Relevant retail experience, ideally in a big-box retail setting
• Prior experience of managing staff
• Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and sales skills
• A high level of business acumen and excellent communication skills
• The ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated, and work as a team player
• Flexibility to work rostered shifts including weekends
