Briscoe Group Looking for Project Manager at Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand Full Time

Based at our support office in Morningside, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a variety of complex projects from initiation to completion. Your role will involve problem-solving, decision-making, and effective communication to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Project delivery – overseeing and ensuring the successful delivery of projects, adhering to predefined scopes, budgets, and timelines.
• Collaborating with function heads to ensure alignment of project objectives with business strategy.
• Developing risk management strategies, monitoring risks, and taking appropriate actions to minimise their impact on project outcomes.
• Working with the project team and stakeholders to create a detailed project budget and monitoring this budget throughout the project.
• Overseeing and facilitating quality assurance activities to ensure that the project’s quality objectives are met.

Skills And Experience

To enable you to be successful in this role, you will bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the retail industry.
• Experience with change management as well as risk management.
• Strong ability to manage stakeholders.
• A high level of strategic thinking.
• Experience in financial management.
• Familiarity with Agile and Lean methodologies is a plus.
