Women’s Sober Living Program

Blufftn/ Ridgeland, SC

For immediate hire:

Primary PurposeTo maintain a safe, sober living environment while promoting long term abstinence-based sobriety.

Primary Responsibilities include:

1. New resident orientation and tour

2. Conduct random and scheduled drug screens and breathalyzers

3. Facilitate weekly house meetings to address issues, resident concerns etc.

4. Assign chores and household tasks

5. Introduce residents to community meetings including but not limited to AA, NA, Smart, Refuge and Celebrate Recovery

6. Be culturally aware and possess the sensitivities to create a welcoming, inclusive, and equitable environment for a diverse range of clientele.

7. Manage all day-to-day operations…scheduling appointments, meetings, job interviews and coordinate and or provide transportation for residents.

8. Organize extracurricular activities to promote a sense of community among residents

9. Keep a daily log of resident activities and report to supervisor on a regular basis

10. Maintain communication with supervisor via email and telephone contact to ensure a healthy environment and quality control measures

11. Have knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel

12. Monitor all household appliances, smoke alarms and plumbing for potential wear/damage, promptly reporting any issues via work order or telephone contact with Plant Operations staff using their protocols for repairs

13. Order and maintain supplies…cleaning, paper products etc.

14. High School Diploma required

15. Ability to navigate the complexities of communal living while maintaining professional boundaries and serving as an inspiration/role model for clients

16. Other duties as needed

    Preferred Qualifications:

17. Have knowledge of basic household repairs

18. Familiar and fluent in 12 step recovery programs.

19. Possess long term abstinence based recovery, preferable two plus years

20. Ability to navigate the complexities of communal living while maintaining professional boundaries and serving as an inspiration/role model for clients

    Salary is commensurate with experience.
