An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Digital Sales team within British Airways based in our Digital Hub in Dublin. As an Inside Sales Team Manager, you will actively lead a team of target driven Digital Sales professionals to establish and optimise long-term relationships within a portfolio of key accounts across corporate and trade channels, along with representing our partner airlines. This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to grow their leadership skills and to be part of a high-performance culture.
What you’ll do:
Drive customer/partner loyalty, new revenue opportunities and improved revenue performance through the implementation of our global, regional and/or local dealing strategies.
Lead, empower and inspire a team with training, coaching and development. Drive performance by ensuring that the team perform against clear business, behavioural and developmental objectives.
Deliver the IAG/Joint Business revenue target and improve profitable revenue and market share in applicable markets.
Demonstrate a professional in-depth knowledge of the industry; operating across geographies to support our teams and maximise opportunities.
Proactively lead a joint company-strategic account planning and development cycle, that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones. Crafting clear activity plans, using all available tools and data insights (e.g. Salesforce) to highlight opportunities and proactively grow revenue and plan effectively.
Optimise New Selling Methods including Social Media to develop your team and enable them to engage, interact with and influence your customers.
What you will bring:
Excellent stakeholder management with a flair for influencing and building relationships.
Highly flexible and innovative in your thought processes, looking at ways of working to achieve revenue targets.
Motivation to inspire and develop others, alongside your ability to understand and navigate the challenges of working within a fast-paced sales environment will be key to your success.
Experience in the airline industry and leading teams is preferable but not crucial.
