ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

Works as a business partner for Marketing leaders in end markets, by providing key commercial insights, thus assisting in ensuring that the end market growth activities contribute to the success and effective resource allocation decisions are made across the value chain.

Analytics which generate valuable insights and foresights is a key lever in driving sustainable and efficient business growth. We are looking for a passionate individual who is excited by analytics to insights and innovation vs. the status quo to join our GBS Commercial team.

This role is expected to provide critical support in developing and embedding Marketing Spend Effectiveness capabilities in GBS by collaborating with rest of the relevant DBS team, and also with global project team, IDT (particularly D&A) as well as end market teams.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

• Coordinates process solutioning, recruitments, on-boarding and knowledge transfers for the Teams; Moreover, handles budgets and Project timeline.
• Uses analytical tools by providing insights and recommendations towards the achievement of plans and supporting execution initiatives.
• Contributes to continually improving business performance by conducting analyses and developing insights to drive velocity and marketing spend effectiveness.
• Collaborates and partner with cross-functional team (including marketing, finance, IDT particularly D&A team) regarding marketing spend effectiveness.
• Supports the process of evaluating the efficiency of Marketing programs & touchpoints through analytical tools to support better decision-making and resource allocation.
• Provides insights to drive spend efficacy and thoughtfulcost management within the Marketing team.
• Assists in multiple strategic GBS projects within tight deadlines, and communicate to line manager and key involved parties any challenges/issues in a clear and timely fashion.
• Plans an active role as a member of relevant GBS team, ensuring continuous improvement in all required capabilities (with emphasis on strong analytical skills) and commercial acuity for own and other team members. Support the relevant leaders in this through combination of existing team development and new appointments.
• Able to effectively operate in a matrix organization with high level of change.

CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?

• Do you have around 5 years of professional experience with 2+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, marketing research, consumer insights and/or category management?
• Are you fluent in English?

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Around 5 years of professional experience with 2+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, marketing research, consumer insights and/or category management.
• Project management experience in leading large-scale, complex Project and experience of actively using platforms like Power BI, Tableau, etc for generating useful insights and foresights in above mentioned aspects.
• Good influencing, leadership and interpersonal skills. Good oral and written communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills to influence and secure cross-functional support
• Understanding and knowledge of relevant tools and systems (i.e. BI / Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
• Experience in planning and execution, performance metrics, project evaluation, of commercial projects.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty, pro-active, collaborative and consultative.
• Proficient in English, written and spoken.
• University degree as a minimum (e.g. Marketing, Business, Finance, Analytics, Economics, Accounting, etc.).

BENEFICIAL

• Experience in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment (consumer goods strongly preferred).
• Master’s studies.
