British Cycling Hiring for Casual Education Tutor and Assessor Job at Remote , UK Full Time

Education Tutor and Assessor needed for the following areas:

• Coaching
• Ride Leadership
• Cycle Training
• Officials – Trainee Commissaire

What we are looking for?

• Demonstrable passion and enthusiasm for facilitating cycling activity
• Hold a relevant coaching/leadership/cycle training/official’s qualification appropriate to the area of tutoring you are applying for
• Relevant experience and / or qualifications in teaching or tutoring – i.e. QTS, L3 Tutoring etc.
• Willingness to undertake further training and development opportunities as appropriate
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience and understanding of using digital platforms / tools to enhance learning and communication
• Share and live by British Cycling’s values of passion, unity, integrity and innovation
• This role will require the successful candidate to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Certificate Application Process.

Purpose of Role

To facilitate the delivery of British Cycling’s education courses by tutoring and assessing courses on a casual contract at dates agreed with British Cycling. British Cycling has a record of supplying high-quality training and is now expanding and diversifying our workforce to meet current demand.

Key Tasks

• To deliver high-quality courses in line with the Standards and British Cycling’s Tutor Notes and guidance.
• Participate fully in British Cycling Education quality assurance processes
• Complete a British Cycling orientation for each course to be delivered.
• Maintain health and safety during the courses and operate in line with British Cycling guidelines.
• Collect and record accurate and complete data as per course administration guidelines.
• Attend regular updates and refresher training as required
• Actively participate in British Cycling’s Tutor Communities of Practice
• Promote products and courses offered by British Cycling using materials provided.
• To abide by British Cycling’s code of conduct.
