JOB PURPOSE
Perform data entry, system updates, and e-filing duties for the firm’s Bankruptcy Department.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY

• Quickly and accurately set up case files for referrals received
• Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered
• Update firm system and client systems with appropriate data, dates, and/or documents
• Electronically file documents with bankruptcy courts

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

Education/Licensure/Credentials Required: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience Required: 1-2 years of data entry experience

Special Knowledge/Skills Required: Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written, computer skills – Microsoft Office, Outlook, and ability to create spreadsheets in excel, leadership skills, problem-solving and decision making skills, the ability to plan and organize well, ability to meet goals, time management skills, perform well under pressure, and able to maintain a good office environment

Preferred: Understanding of the standard real estate and foreclosure documents, versatility in CaseWare and the various lender systems (LPS) and payroll systems.
