We are currently seeking a dedicated and driven Events Specialist to join our team. The Events Specialist role is responsible for our overall Client Experience. We want our clients and visitors to have a warm and welcoming experience. This will be achieved by planning each step of their journey and working with business partners to work through the details. To be successful you must have a can-do attitude, think outside the box, be quick on your feet when you are thrown a curve ball and have a strong affinity for creating an excellent customer service experience.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
Event planning – Responsible for researching venues, determining and working with vendors, receiving bids, and managing a budget.
Create the customer experience process and work with internal and external partners to ensure consistency for each visit.
Responsible for working with clients to determine and make travel arrangements for internal and external clients.
Handle all aspects of creating the incentive trip experience; site visits; sourcing hotels, DMC, etc.
Partner with internal business partners to determine the best possible client experience.
Desired Qualifications:
Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college, or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous Hospitality, Communications or Public Relations experience strongly preferred.
Previous experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, knowledge of event planning software a plus
Strong attention to detail
Ability to execute within set timeframes.
Ability to juggle multiple priorities.
Strong background in creating a positive customer experience.
Strong listening skills
