About the roleAs a Bronkhorst USA Technical Specialist, you’ll be in the thick of it, supporting customers with technical advice and assistance to help them efficiently find the best instrumentation and solutions for their low flow measurement and control applications.Each day will be filled with variety, with no time to get bored.You’ll be a critical link in a team of like-minded individuals. • Respond to questions from customers and from within the internal sales teams
• Prepare quotes and orders
• Provide post-sale support (delivery status, returns, exchanges, and the like)
• Technical assistance (you will be surrounded by a team of experts for those you don’t know the answer to)
• Roll up the sleeves and jump in to help the team as required

Qualifications and experienceYou must have an affinity for customer service and have had exposure to industrial instrumentation or flow control solutions within the industry (chemical, pharma, food, medical, oil, and gas, or others).You need to be smart and detailed enough to manage complex sales and speak confidently to senior executives.It’s also a huge plus if you have a genuine interest in chemistry and physics and how they apply to fluids. You will also have:

• An associate or Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
• At least five years of customer service experience (ideally working in a comparable industry)
• Exposure to enterprise software (ERP or CRM)
• A reasonable level of comfort with senior buyers and engineers
