ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/ DUTIES

The essential functions/duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Review work queue for all assigned cases in New York Early Intervention System to audit for required documents.

• Ensure all documents are complete and accurate before distributing to clinicians, i.e. Request for Services, Service Authorizations, Prescriptions, service mandates, etc.

• Data enter and properly document approved services as per IFSP into internal system, eProvider PLUS.

• Create virtual files and update approved services as needed.

• Work closely with Program Manager to ensure all authorizations are accepted and providers receive paperwork within a timely manner.

• Maintains clinician, client and company confidentiality.

• Attends meetings and participates in projects related to administrative functions.

• Responsible for special projects and additional responsibilities as needed.

• Answers telephones, conveys and takes messages, and gives routine information in accordance with established procedures.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook required)

• New York Early Intervention System (NYEIS)

REQUIREMENTS

• Associates degree preferred

• High School diploma required

• Strong organizational skills

• Ability to multi-task

• Ability to handle high volume of data entry

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Hand dexterity ability (ability to operate mobile device, telephone, computer)

• Ability to sit for extended periods of time
