Brunel Australasia are seeking several Software Engineers and Application Engineers to join our Global Energy client in Perth.

The function of these roles are to support the solutions, applications, data and interfaces to enable scheduling and trading business functions of their value chain.

About this role

Your role is to support the GSAT (Gas Supply & Trading) LNG Scheduling and Trading Team through the software development lifecycle for software solutions, with a primary focus on maintaining vendor software and optimizing evergreen support through configuration, automation, and integration.

About you

Technical Requirements:

Experience with Power Platform solutions and operation (particularly PowerApps and Power Automate/Flow), API Integration, API Management, Logic Apps, potentially Angular or similar JavaScript platforms, and comfort using SQL and reading XML.

Functional Requirements:

Interest in improving functional UI, improving operational workflows and human-centered design, building systems that simplify and clarify operational processing logic, support users to reduce errors while increasing quality data capture and accuracy.

Working in an integrated system environment with multiple other developers, where integrated solutions and coordinated development is critical – so the ability to communicate clearly with others is key – the ability to express what you’re thinking and to clarify what others are thinking so that we can collaboratively and iteratively build the best solutions.

Collaboration within scrum team and with a small number of tightly related scrum teams to design and deliver co-operative solutions across multiple systems to deliver leading solutions to a complex and engaging business.
