Brunner Looking for Web Developer at Pittsburgh, PA Full Time

We’re seeking a motivated and self-driven Junior/Mid-Level Web Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing and enhancing our clients’ online presence through CMS-based projects. Our projects span various CMS platforms, including WordPress, Drupal, Umbraco, and Shopify. While the emphasis is on front-end development, a solid understanding of PHP and the ability to collaborate with back-end developers is essential. Experience with headless or Jamstack CMS implementations will be considered a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design and marketing teams to implement visually appealing and user-friendly website designs.
• Develop and maintain CMS-based websites using platforms like WordPress.
• Utilize React to build interactive and responsive frontend components.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize websites for performance.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend with backend systems when necessary.
• Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues, including debugging and testing.
• Stay updated with the latest web development trends, tools, and techniques.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in frontend web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
• Proficiency in PHP for frontend-backend interaction.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms, particularly WordPress.
• Bonus points for experience with headless or Jamstack CMS implementations.
• Solid understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Excellent communication skills.
