Essential Functions:Transmit and receive operational data and service order information using the Cooperative’s radio dispatch system and computer system.Review service orders and assign orders to personnel by entering data into the computer system and contacting field personnel by radio.Generate additional service orders as needed.Remotely disconnect/reconnect services.Monitor and operate the SCADA, security, and load management systems.Respond to field personnel requests/retrieve reports and notification of any problems.Monitor security system to detect facility, substation, security, or breach of security. Contact supervisor/manager of security breaches.Monitor the entrance door to the conference room and release the electric security lock to the conference room to allow entry.Lock/Unlock gates/doors upon request of authorized BEMC personnel/contract crews.Analyze outages as reported to determine the extent of the problem. Notify field personnel through radio or telephone communications also enter restoration information of outage.Communicate with field personnel to facilitate the restoration of service during outages. Assist with the location of crews and defective equipment during outages.Maintain current knowledge of transmission and distribution system, related switches, engineering standards, substation and feeder locations, and sectionalizing devices.Maintain work orders in the built not hot file and no service order log.Receive record and maintain building inspections.Maintain and log BEMC pole numbers and placardsEqual Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer m/f/d/vFor more information, or to apply now, you must go to the website below.
