Why this job matters
As the Communications and Social Media Intern, you will play a key role in delivering initiatives in Strategy & Growth team. The role has responsibility for wide-ranging communication and governance duties.
You will report to the Communication & Social Media Manager – Strategy & Enablement and support the senior leadership team in generating their internal and external messages, as well as supporting tthe wider BT Sourced team as required.

What you’ll be doing
Support the delivery of key targets including but not limited to:
Co-ordination of tasks related to internal and external communications.
Assist in drafting external communications for both BT Sourced Linkedin & our Digital partners.
Work closely with the Bt Group brand team to ensure our communication is in line with the group strategy.
Support key changes on the BT Sourced intranet site as well as
Supporting communication planning and triage for internal messages.
Supporting the Strategy & Enablement leadership team on ad-hoc activities in support of the teams’ objectives
Skills you will need
Excellent communication skills, with a high-level of attention to detail and well organised with the ability to operate under pressure in a fast moving-environment
Ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels
Strong organisational and administrative skills
Ability to prioritise and manage your own workload often with conflicting priorities
Expertise in the use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. HTML is a plus.
