BTP Insurance Services Hiring for Accounts Receivable/Data Entry Clerk Job at Laredo, TX Full Time

BTP Insurance Services, LLC is looking to bring an entry-level, detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to provide financial, administrative and clerical services. Accounts receivable duties include ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Create customer invoices ** software training will be provided
• Post customer payments by recording cash, check, and CC transactions/ update agency software
• Update receivables by totaling unpaid invoices
• Verify validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from accounts
• Organize collections to maintain customer account(s)
• Contact customers regarding overdue accounts
• Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Strong attention to detail: being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks
• Ability to adapt with flexibility: being open to change and to considerable variety in the workplace
• Ability to work independently by guiding oneself with little or no supervision and depending one oneself to get things done.

Monday – Friday| 8:00 am-12:00 pm; 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Starting pay $10.50 p/h with raise after 90-day probationary period.
