Buchanan Technologies Hiring for Project Manager at Remote Full Time

Job Summary:

• Develop and maintain project plans (MS Project)
• Validate resource engagements, allocations, along with planned, actual, & remaining hours against original estimates & budgets
• Prepare change requests (budget, schedule, scope) and facilitate stakeholder agreement
• Manage project budgets: put together funding requests with spend plans, maintain burn rates monthly, update budget sheets monthly, maintain project forecasts & spend plans monthly
• Assist with vendor & contract management
• Facilitate problem management & escalation as needed to address project obstacles or changes in schedule, scope, or budget
• Maintain project artifacts as required by the Governance team
• Prepare presentations for stakeholders, steering committee, & Executive Governance Committee
• Create and complete various project documentation
• Coordinate and/or facilitate meetings, document action items and tasks as well as follows up to ensure completion
• Develop communication to project team and leadership including presentations, status updates, meeting notes, risk and issues log, change requests, etc.
• Performs other tasks as assigned

Required Skills:

• 5+ years’ experience minimum in project management
• Proficient with Microsoft Project
• Proficient with Microsoft office tools, including SharePoint, TEAMS and Excel

Preferred Skills:

• PMP + 5 years’ experience, or 10+ years’ experience with other certifications
