Tracking Code1234-990Job DescriptionGENERAL DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSEQualified candidates will be reviewed for their past experience, training, and personal work performance, which includes safety performance, quality performance, attendance, and team skills.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITIONControlling the Overfill bagsScale Bucket Repair, Linear Pans and Closing gaps in the bucketsReport all Scale and Bagger issues to Production Supervisor and MaintenanceCoordinate the activities of co-workers in order to meet production needsCoordinate relief for breaks, lunch, and shift switchoverCommunication with shift supervisors regarding daily eventsPerform all the department job functions, as necessaryOperate Hayssen packaging equipmentOperate Yamato Scales and Ishida ScalesAble to work around equipment and machineryRequires extensive problem-solving skillsMust be capable of performing quality checks, product changeovers, re-suppling of film, and required paperworkLevel 2 or aboveUpdate Scale Condition Report DailyJOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skill And Experience Requirements)Experience: Qualified candidates will have previous experience working with equipment in a production process. Candidates selected will undergo a 30-day training period.Knowledge/Skills: HS Diploma or demonstrated ability to perform assigned tasks. Employee adheres to all policies, practices, and SOP’s related to producing safe qualify food (SQF’s). Has the responsibility and authority to report any problems pertaining to food safety and quality to his/her Supervisor.STARTING RATE RANGE: EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONHigh School DiplomaEMPLOYEE MANAGEMENT N/AWORK HOUR REQUIREMENT2nd shift Employees should indicate their interest in being considered by completing the Job Posting Response form.
