Bupa Looking for Cleaner Housekeeper | David Lange, Māngere East at South Auckland, Auckland Full Time

This is why Bupa David Lange Care Home, located in Māngere East, is searching for like-mind Cleaners, to join our community. We are currently recruiting for two permanent part timers to join our team. This is a great opportunity to work close to home, avoiding the hustle and bustle of city traffic.

As part of our Housekeeping team, you will help create a homely and healthy place for our residents by providing an exceptional cleaning service to the Care Home. You will help us rise to the challenges of enriching the lives of society’s most vulnerable.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of cleaning as set out on the cleaning schedule
• Managing cleaning supplies
• Treat residents with respect and dignity
• Adhere to policies and procedures

What about you

• Previous cleaning experience in a similar environment is preferable
• Be prepared to roll up your sleeve and get stuck into whatever needs to get done
• Demonstrate enthusiasm, care, and passion for making a difference in our residents’ lives
• Must have flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week, including weekends and evenings.
• Reliable transport or travel arrangements

The NZ Government COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021 (Vaccinations Order), has mandated that workers in the health and disability sector must be double vaccinated, including booster vaccinations which came into effect on 23 January 2022. Due to this mandate, we will need evidence of your two vaccinations and your booster.

If you received your second dose on or before 16 August 2021, then you must get the vaccine booster by 15 February 2022. If you received your second dose after 16 August 2021, then you must get the vaccine booster within 183 days (6 months) of your second dose. You will be asked to provide evidence of your vaccination status during our recruitment process.
