Position Description

The Administrative Assistant is at the heart of our team’s business operations and activities and helps keep our team moving forward. This role anticipates the needs of our leaders and team members and helps them stay focused on their projects by resolving operational and administrative issues before they arise. In addition to being organized and analytical, this person will possess the strong business judgment and communication skills needed to interact with a variety of people and perform multiple job functions. We are looking for someone who has a strong eye for detail, exceptional problem-solving skills, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic workplace.

A Day In The Life

• Ability to multitask, prioritize and practice good time management
• General clerical and administrative tasks, including assisting in the scheduling of meetings and executive appointments coordinate and organize in-house or off-site activities, and manage in-office resources
• Provide general administrative support to leaders and serve as supporting role to all fellow team members
• Serve as the initial point of contact between guests and the organization, welcoming, directing, and displaying a professional first impression
• Supports the executive team by completing and communicating actions efficiently, and with an unparalleled degree of accuracy
• Ensure general office maintenance and arrange necessary repairs and improvements
• Produces information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting physical and digital documents

What You’ll Bring

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Proven ability to contribute in a high-paced work environment consistently and positively with the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage work time efficiently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships
• Strong written communication and presentation skills
• A high degree of organizational skill and problem-solving ability; specifically, the ability to work as a self-starter – especially as it relates to calling on resources outside the firm
• Resourcefulness in finding information and answers from within and outside the company without prompting or micromanagement. Recognizing opportunities for improvement and taking initiative is key
• Ability to adhere to an expectation of complete confidentiality on all business matters
• Respect for details; ability to execute accurately at a high level without excess supervision

We started locally in Richmond VA and have now expanded nationwide. We continue to be a rapidly growing firm in the future and looking to add the best talent to our team. We work with small business owners in America and get the opportunity to service them with engagements that range from bookkeeping, to CFO services; from tax preparation to tax planning; from tax implementation to tax advantaged wealth management. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 – $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
