C Limited Hiring for Cargo Coordinator Job at Auckland Full Time

Our Auckland operation is looking for a well organised, motivated Cargo Coordinator to control and monitor our receivals and deliveries (R&D) across the Roll on Roll off (RORO) area of the business. This role is all about managing and coordinating the movement of cars, machinery, and other cargo through the Ports of Auckland.

If you have strong relationship management skills and can keep your cool under pressure, then this could be the job for you. This position is all about communication and client services. You will be the main point of contact between external and internal clients. To be successful in this position you will need to be a self-starter, forward thinker and a problem solver who can understand and anticipate client needs.

Strong administrative and computer skills to manage the documentation are an essential requirement for this role.

As the port industry is a 24/7 business flexibility with hours will be required as there will be a requirement to work some weekends and public holidays depending on shipping schedules.

To be considered for this position you will need;

• An ability to meet deadlines and cope with timelines that can change
• Competency across the Microsoft suite as well as our client’s own software packages
• Excellent customer service skills, to ensure our customers feel looked after and kept informed
• A self-starter who is keen to problem solve and provide direction to others
• Strong focus on the Health & Safety of you and your team
• Familiarity in logistics operations
