C Limited Hiring for Cargo Tally Job at Auckland Full Time

Employing over 1200 staff in 13 locations across New Zealand, C3 Limited is a market leader in New Zealand’s port related product and cargo handling, adding value to our client’s businesses by providing solutions to their transport and logistics needs.

Our Auckland operation is looking for well organised women or men to join our team of motivated Cargo Tallies to assist in the control and monitoring of our receivals and deliveries (R&D) across the roll on roll off (RORO) area of the business (This entails capturing accurate data on a mobile device)

If you have strong relationship management skills and can keep your cool under pressure, then this could be the job for you. This position is a key role within our RORO operations.

To be successful in this position you will need to be a self-starter, forward thinker and a problem solver who can understand and anticipate the operational needs. You will also need to be physically fit as a lot of walking is involved while being a team player.

As the port industry is a 24/7 business, flexibility with hours will be required as there will be a requirement to work some weekends and public holidays depending on shipping schedules. This is a casual position.

Shift hours are typically;

0700 -1500 & 1500 – 2300

To be considered for this position you will need;

• Flexible availability
• Excellent customer service skills, to ensure our customers’ expectations are meet.
• To be a self-starter who is keen to problem solve and provide direction to others
• A strong focus on the Health & Safety for you and your team
• To be able to work in all weathers (wet weather gear incl footwear provided)
• To be proficient in the use of a mobile handheld device (ie: texting skills)
• Full Class 1 license
