Payment & Billing Analyst – Accounts Department – 6-month contract

CAE are presently accepting applications for a Payment & Billing Analyst within the Accounts team, reporting to the Supervisor- Accounts Department.

The successful applicant will be a key member of the Accounts Team and work closely with the current Accounts Team in place. The payments and billing analyst will work in a fast-paced environment working to monthly and weekly deadlines. They will also work closely with the Technical Services Department on a regular basis on pay and billing matters that arise.

The successful applicant will also be part of the Oracle cloud implementation project.

Responsibilities:

• Payment duties by reconciliation of monthly contractor claims/supplier invoices.

• Collaborating with different teams in the Technical Services function for payment approvals.

• Co-ordinate payments into customer projects for billing.

• Uploading payment files to the bank.

• Accurate monthly billing to customers on a project basis.

• Producing reports on customer billing and payments as required.

• Monthly reconciliation of service agreement billing.

• Weekly departmental meetings to ensure efficient payments and customer billing.

• Resolving contractor and supplier payment queries in a timely manner.

• Resolving customer billing queries in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• 2+ years in a financial role or recent grad from a finance or business course level 6-8.

• Highly numerate, ideally with a financial qualification, would be an advantage.

• Strong analytical ability & reporting skills, familiar with Microsoft Excel and Power BI.

• Knowledge of best billing practises and purchase order processes.

• Confidence in problem solving and collaborating with different teams.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Flexible and ability to work in a faced paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
