Caliber Design is a mechanical design company, specialising in design and project engineering. We employ 50+ engineers throughout New Zealand, primarily in Auckland, Waikato, Christchurch, and Dunedin. Our engineers work with clients on a project-by-project basis, so they can upsize their team with the exact skills they need, when they need them.

Working within both the operational and strategic space you will be part of the Senior Leadership Team where your contribution will have the potential to positively influence the direction of the business and help us achieve our vision and purpose.
The Role
This is a newly created role. It reports to the CEO and will have a team of Technical Leads reporting into it.
The purpose of this role is to provide technical leadership and mentorship for our engineers. You will be responsible for ensuring Caliber Engineers deliver word class results across all our engineering projects including Project Engineering and Mechanical Design.
In addition to this, Caliber is developing an exciting, five-year development pathway for our engineers and you will be integral in further developing and delivering this program.
Our Ideal Candidate
A professional, responsible and accountable senior engineer within the mechanical engineering industry. You may be an experienced Project Engineer who is well versed in leading and mentoring a high performing team with some design experience … or a highly experienced Design Engineer with some Project Engineering experience who can do the same.
