Responsible for programming business solutions based on requirements for all business areas within Cambia Health Solutions.&br&&br&&&Responsibilities:&&&ul&&li&Develops analytics and research to support Provider reporting needs, and implements these enhancements into our monthly reporting structure.&/li&&li&Develops knowledge of health plan operations, health plan data sources and structures, and cost containment strategies; including how these subjects relate to the company’s products and competitive market position.&/li&&li&Identifies needed reporting, assembles or directs the assembly of reports, and distributes such information to the people who need it.&/li&&li&Designs, develops or directs the development of, and directs the performance of acceptance testing of new reports, programs, and models.&/li&&li&Proactively identifies issues and concerns to management.&/li&&li&Applies knowledge of how various departments within the corporation work together to make the company run effectively.&/li&&li&Communicate effectively with both internal and external clients.&/li&&li&Writes documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and changes.&/li&&li&Interprets business requirements and develops design specifications.&/li&&li&Writes code or configuration to implement business requirements using approved technologies.&/li&&li&Develops tests to validate correct implementation of the business requirements.&/li&&li&Acquire knowledge of Cambia data systems to meet the analytical and reporting needs of the division and the corporation.&/li&&li&Actively participates in the division’s peer review processes.&/li&&li&Responsible for corporate profitability by prudent management of risk.&/li&&/ul&&&Minimum Requirements:&&&ul&&li&Keen analytical and problem solving skills.&/li&&li&Solid oral and written communication skills, including presentation and technical writing skills.&/li&&li&Familiarity with relational databases and client-server concepts.&/li&&li&Demonstrated computer skills using ETL, SQL coding and report tools.&/li&&li&Proven ability to perform difficult analytical tasks with minimum supervision.&/li&&li&Must be able to develop efficient and effective program and system solutions in solving business problems.&/li&&li&Ability to review, analyze, and enhance configurationrogramming systems including coding, testing, and debugging.&/li&&li&Ability to consult with application’s users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives.&/li&&li&Must be able to effectively adapt to changing technologies and methodologies and apply them to technological and/or business needs.&/li&&li&Ability to negotiate common solutions with acceptable compromises for business users with conflicting Business Intelligence needs.&/li&&li&Understanding of business process improvement, benefit and risk management and software testing, and of all testing events throughout the development lifecycle&/li&&li&A wide degree of creativity is required.&/li&&li&Knowledge of healthcare and healthcare business processes a plus.&/li&&/ul&&b&&i&Normally to be proficient in the competencies listed above&/i&&/b&&br&&br&The Programmer Analyst would have a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Operational Technology Management, Computer Science, Operations Research or an equivalent related field and 5+ years job-related work experience or an equivalent combinati on of education and related work experience.&br&&br&This position includes 401(k), healthcare, paid time off, paid holidays, and more.
